Haus of Super Shimmer * Part 1

Remember my "1st Time Thrift Shopping" post and what I picked out?
Well, here is what my aunt created out of the top I picked out! She showed me all the work that goes behind a crazy outfit so I know how it was changed and made *sparkly*!

We went to this pop-up shop event....
Then I got thirsty so my aunt went next door to get me a Coke.
"I get thirsty when Im happy."
Ashton Kutcher took a pic of me & put it on his twitter.
My aunt said he was in "Open Season".
"I really like Open Season!"
Aunt, "He's the deer in it."
"*GASP!* The deer my favorite! I always copy the deer! Because he is hilarious!!!" (Side note: Paris, "You didn't give it some oomph." Aunt "The exclamation mark is there, see?" Paris, "Yeah, but it needs some oomph. How bout you put some more exclamation marks...so there's 3.")

Here I am talking to Angelique. I could not get over her *sparkly* outfit. I also told her not to get on the dance floor with her camera and new cell phone. There were TOO many girls out there and her stuff could fall and break...
"I told her to like, be kind of close to the dance floor and call one of the models over. So then Angelique could take the picture. She was like sooooo so cute. I was always saying she could enter the shimmer contest, but she said "Well I didnt wear anything else shinny."
I kept looking for Jessica Louise too. I could not remember how she looked like because I was so little when I first met her. I had just turned 3 & was in her old work space. My shirt says, "Trust me...I KNOW fashion." Not much has changed and I love all of her creations!
"Her outfit was really cute. I liked all the cherries on it. She was really really nice."
I also talked to Salli & told her she could go inside if she got too cold outside.
"Salli is really nice. I loved her dress. Its so cute! Her lil scarf was really really couture!"

"Debbi was really nice. I loved her red hair. She took pictures of me and when she showed me them, I liked them!"

Ready for the 80's dance floor....
(about the glasses) "O-M-G. THESE are M.J."
Stay tuned for Part 2!

Paris' 1st Concert: LITTLE BOOTS

9/18/09
"My daddy played "Little Boots" and I totally wanted to hear her music all the time over and over!
We found out she was playing soon, so we got our tickets and my Tia talked to me about Victoria Hesketh. How she became "Little Boots", because she studied music, was in a band, but wanted something fun and different than they did, so she went out by herself and created what she wanted to do. Different sounds and different instruments!
My 1st concert was at a big show with the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, but I didn't really know their music so this is my REAL 1st concert because I loooooooooove Little Boots and she lives faaaaar far away in England so I HAD to see her! I had to take a nap if I wanted to go though, so I did.

When the show started I knew ALL the songs!!! Little Boots' outfit was AMAZING! I loved her music and how she played with her space instruments. My favorite song is "Stuck on Repeat" and I wanted a avant garde outfit....so my arm was hidden in the outfit that my Tia made! I gave it to Little Boots & she loved it!!! I had the BEST time at my 1st concert!!!"

Heeeeey Macarena!

My mom had music videos playing while she was cleaning and the best most awesome song went on!

I watched it again and again untill I learned the dance moves!
I LOVE it!
I asked my mom
"Why don't people do this ALL the time?!"

"They had a Macarena dance competition!!! I wonder what they look for? Maybe if your focused!"

"Everyone please print this form and hang it in your room!"
(This is on her bedroom wall.)

M.J. conversations....

"I'm a huuuuuuuge Michael Jackson fan. I call him "M.J."
'cause I think it's a good thing that people should call him.
All his songs are so much fun to dance too!"

THIS IS IT -MOVIE
"I started dancing in the theater watching "This is It"
I can't believe I'm going to say this, but I was dancing to "Smooth Criminal".
Ooooomg! I said it! I'm so embarassed, haha!
He runs out of the stairs and you wont believe it.....he BREAKS out of the window!
That was in the end.
I like the Thriller in this movie better than the video. It's soooo thrilling!
There's like dead brides. It's so gross. They got red stuff on their face and white makeup for their whole face.
Their outfits are like all ripped. All the details are ripped off. It's like a whole rip off.
The girls with the ruffles. You gotta watch her in the end. The girls with the ruffles on her sleeves.
She's got rips on her dress and holes too!"

SMOOTH CRIMINAL:
(When the song starts) "Now thaaaats the awesome part!
Sometimes that makes my mouth stay like this. (opens mouth a lil),
because I looooove this song.
I think was was sooooo amazing. Did you see?! He wasn't doing anything, and that guy disappeared.
(About his outfit) He looks like he'd be a criminal, but he's so so smooth.
You know how you hear a lil bitty squeek on the tile? (slides foot) That's how he walks 'cause he's smooth.
Sometimes my eyes stay really really open. I like to watch it a bunch of times."

"I don't know HOW he did that move when he leans over,
because we I do it....
(tries to lean forward, falling) I keep falling! I don't know how he did it. It's like he almost leans to the floor!"
......keeps trying again and again to do the move.

< Showed her this pic......

"It's SO amazing that the shoes did that! It could totally hold him?!
Omg but he's so big! He was like a grown up!
That's so cool that those shoes held on to him so tight!"

The Aloof, Heavyweight & Big Finish!

My aunt showed me this part of "Sweet Charity" The choreography is from Bob Fosse.
"Bob Fosse....sounds like Fozzie, but its not."

WHAT I THOUGHT OF...
*Click on the Title to watch*

Flamenco Fashions

Designer Pepa Castro
"I love the style and all the ruffles. I really want to learn how to dance but I think I need a photo of Spain so I could learn. Oh! I also want a photo of flamenco dancers so I could dance in front of them. They go very fast like my jazz dances but they have cuter outfits! They move their dresses all over the place and I love it!"

These are Jeremy Scott Spring line! I YELLED when I saw them.
"They're soooo cute. Very hipster and flamenco mixed together.
SO 2010 and SO fab!"

"OMG look at her hat !!!!!! I want it!"

"So flamenco style dress but... it needs to be a little tighter. The mermaid cut!"

"Neon pink flamenco vest by River Island. OMG I died!"
