Scatter My Ashes at BERGDORF'S
Designer Issac Mizrahi on the importance of being stocked at Bergdorf's
"If your clothes are not at that place there's no future. There's no future for those clothes. Sorry."
"If your clothes are not at that place there's no future. There's no future for those clothes. Sorry."
I sat at home with a glamour's outfit and put on my Netflix and started this amazing adventure.
Karl Lagerfeld, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, Rachel Zoe, Marc Jacobs, Diane von Furstenberg, Manolo Blahnik, Christian Louboutin, Alber Elbaz where all in this movie. I had no idea how much time went into those windows. Linda Fargo really shines in this movie I can wait to meet her one day.
After the movie was over I felt like a bolt of fashion went though me. It was really amazing after the 14th time I still feel the same way.

Halloween "OH NO"
" So BORED I can't find something to wear for Halloween.Oh there's one!"
10 minutes later...
" Aaah! Where's my stuff!I left it in the car which is is parked miles away."
I know all of you guys have been in this situation (or something like it) so here's some helpful...well,HELP
DIY:Crayon Lipstick
I seen this on Tavi Gevinson's website rookiemag.com
Click on link below:
So if there's one thing I can do is “winging it” which means turning a disaster
into a Happily Ever After. Are you going to be a zombie and you detail it so
pretty and then...SMEAR you'll think it's a disaster and you have to start over
and take the facepaint off. WRONG!
Solution: smear it more!zombies should look ugly!
Have a SCARY Halloween!

Project Runway
I
like Kate Pankoke! Her styles are so unique and she really inspires me.I am
totally rooting for her! I watch it every single week.
Judges
Heidi Klum: I think
she is really honest but sometimes she pours too much of that on her criticism
which can hurt the designers.
Nina Garcia: She is
always at least a little optimistic but not everything is good work.
The Mentor
Tim Gunn is
the thread that sews everything together…Get it? And I also think that he is
the fashion security guard when he sees how the designers are doing in the
design room and I think that he gives really helpful advice.

Arianne Phillips is a costume designer. She has also been Madonna Stylist and has designed and styled her last four concert tours!!!! She has received two Oscar nominations for "Walk the Line" and W.E" . She got a Costume Designer's Guild award for her work on W.E. I know she is a HUGE deal, and she is a Fashion Editor. Yup, just google her and fall in love with her and her style eye.

Miss Tosh and GMAMA
Let me tell you about Miss Tosh, who found me on Instagram. She is a model and
designer from LA but is in school in Chicago and she sent me an e-mail
about her new line GMAMA!!! When you think about your grandma`s closet you see wonders
of the past but she suddenly turns them into a "wear whatever" person. While
you are creating your own style, your grandma thinks she’s cool too because she thinks she should go back to the styles she wore when she was young. She thinks about how amazing and vibrant she`ll look in
those clothes! So she orders some GMAMA and when she puts them on, and she realises she IS her granddaughter! Thats EXACTLY what this line can do for your grandma.
If you want to see more of Miss Tosh go to http://misstosh.tumblr.com/
Then she calls you and for the first time saying, "Hi dear! Do you
want to go shopping? I need you to help me re-vamp my closet BIG TIME." You
take her out and are SO surprised to see HOW stylish she is! You get to talk about designers, fashion
lines, fashion shows, and perfumes. Then as you're walking along she sees a pretty 60's vintage purse and you tell her, "That purse is SO pretty! It'll look great with your TOSH outfit!" Then you think about about this GORGEOUS line and that vintage purse that you actually helped her pick out. She is happy you have her
style but she knows that she’s just as much your biggest fashion fan. Aaaaaw!

"GMAMA'S Junk Drawer" : The essence of GMAMA breaks through all boundaries, unapologetically shattering any box of conformity that attempts to encase her. At the age of 60, my Gmama broke through societies expectations and began adorning herself with tattoos, riding motorcycles, ripping, dying, studding, and stitching her own garments. She confronted her identity and responded with fashion. She became G-MAMA, refusing the conformists title for a grandmother. Her story embodies a whimsical rebellious spirit that I find in my female mentors and role models. The women modeling in the show are the women who inspired the collection. My grandmother ( at age 73), my friend Denise Hansard(Dream Coach), and Sandra Adams (professor/ mentor). TOSH

Wildfox Showroom Fun
Woke up on Friday, morning got out of bed super happy to go to the Wildfox Showroom to grab some goods!! I was going to my closet and DISASTER struck I forgot to pick out an outfit! So I sat down and did some brainstorming. And I remembered I have a pretty vintage 1960s dress and a pink hat that I knew would look good together and I put them on and said "Now that's how you solve a fashion disaster!" so me and my(awesome) dad went to get artisan sandwiches at Starbucks Coffee and drove off. We headed down the 101fwy and got to downtown and a half hour later finally found some parking. We went inside the Cooper Building and saw there was some photos of all the stars that had visited the building. There was tons of people there ready to shop at all the showrooms. We found Wildfox looked and looked and looked for cute T-shirts and I sure did find some!! We left around 300pm and headed home I could not wait to hung them in my closet !!!!
There was a whole board of all the sales going on!
I saw a real cool painting on my way up to the showroom.

Esther Williams and Irene Sharaff
Esther Williams was one of the first to synchronized swimming they called it aqua ballet!
I loved her in "Bathing Beauty" a WONDERFUL MGM Movie. They even use to call her the princess mermaid.
Click on link for more about Esther Williams
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9jUjhrDhFuM
The woman who made the costumes for the movie was Irene Sharaff. She received her training at the New York School of Fine and Applied Arts and then went on to her first work in fashion as an illustrator for Vogue and Harper's Bazaar in the 1930s. Her first own creation appeared in Broadway and then she signed a 4 year contract with MGM. At MGM she said that she saw everything "in blocks of color" her best designs were in the 1950's. She was Elisabeth Taylors Fav. designer! Her line of work in movies are unbelievable. She passed away on August 10th 1993. Her Quote Was:"You can acquire chic and elegance, but style itself is a a rare thing."
