THINK PINK!

I have a habit of *GASPING*, and this *pink* sequence in "Funny Face" took my breath away!
Oh I want this dress sooooooooooooo bad. I hope my aunt has some time to make it for me.
My eyes got THIS BIG when I saw this dress trasform! I love clothing dramatics like that!
Maggie tells all the girls they gotta wear PINK!
My aunt told me her character was based on Diana Vreeland.
She was the "fashion girl" writer for VOUGE before Anna Wintour. I loved "The September Issue"
I got to see HOW the magazines I get are made and how fierce Anna is!
"Fierce" is when you do things your way.

Ace of Base Discovery!

I can't tell you HOW much this band is on repeat! Have you heard of them?
Ace of Base. I love singing to their music!

Anything that even LOOKS like a Croc!

I also looooooooooooooove trying on shoes!
My mom has not been able to walk by shoe isle since I was 2.
Here's me at 2, jumping on a bed with my aunts wedgies feeling FABULOUS!
"Terrible 2's" was me having a fit because my mom would walk by the shoe isle and NOT stop for me to try shoes on! Well, I grew out of that.....but now I just beg to try on shoes. It's my hobby.
Well, this day Mom was shopping for my shoes and ran into these ones. She thought I'd LOVE these shoes since I LOVE purple and pink anything. One look at these, and I said.
"Oh................those are.........the UGLIEST things.......ever."
My mom thought I was just being picky and put them in the cart anyways! So the whole way over to the cashier I kept telling her to "Get those shoes out! They're UGLYYYYY!!!" She thought maybe once at home I'd give them a try? These gross things touched my feet, and I started crying!

They now belong to my cousin.

Givenchy & Hello Kitty

One of my favorite movies is "Sabrina". My aunt told me Givenchy was Audrey Hepburns friend!
He made her the prettiest outfits and even made a perfume for her! L'interdit By Givenchy  My aunt had a mini-version she gave to me and I wear it all the time!

We were invited to the Hello Kitty 30th Anniversary Gallery event, so she made me my own Givenchy inspired dress in 50's bubble-style, and with my favorite.....a HUGE bow! My favorite part of the gallery was Lady GaGa's Hello Kitty dress and Katy Perry's Hello Kitty outfit! I love Hello Kitty and my bathroom was the Hello Kitty Paris theme from Target last year!

My aunt had already taught me all about *Fabulosity*! It means to be brave, and I got to meet Kimora Lee and her daughters that night! She complimented my dress and told me,
"Paris, can you change your middle name to 'Lee'?"
Miranda Cosgrove and Simone Legno of Tokidoki were also really nice!

To The Cobrasnake: "*gasp* You took pictures of Marc Jacobs?!"
(as he took the pic above!)
Then they had the Hello Kitty 30th Anniversary FASHION SHOW! I LOOOOOOOOVED it!
I chatted with the CuteandNast girls who were all SO pretty and were so nice!
My aunt added some sparkle to my dress and I had a "fashion hart-attack"!I loved it SO much!

Who to listen to....

Nina Garcia is a smart "fashion girl".
Fashion girls are the ones next to the runway taking notes.

She is the Fashion Director of Marie Claire and wrote one of the four best fashion books called, "The Little Black Book of Style" which my mom and aunt loved. I had to read or have somebody read to me for school. So I read a lot of different books, and my mom read me this fashion book. 160 pages!
My mom turned in the list of books I read, and the lady in sweat pants looked up at my mom and said, "Don't you think you she should read her something more educational?" My mom told her, "This book has information she can use throughout her whole life! I don't see how 'The Happy Little Pumpkin' will do that."
Never believe a lady in sweats to put down anything about style and fashion learning.

My aunt told me, "See....there are a lot of people who have never ever been brave and worn anything that's different. They are scared to wear what they would love to, because they want to look like everybody else. They don't want to be different because they are scared of what somebody will say."
Paris, "Like, they would never wear a really big poofy skirt?"

Aunt, "Exactly! Some people are like, "Oh no no no! You're crazy! That's only for wedding dresses!" So when they see somebody who wears something different they say, "Oh no no no. That's uuuuugly! Who would be crazy enough to wear that?!" but all the fashion people who are fearless and have actually worn different styles say, "Wow! That's different! I've never seen that! That's very creative!"

So only listen to people who know how to be fearless in fashion. Never listen to people who are afraid. They're the same type of people who said girls should neeeeeever wear pants! Called them mean mean names, called them crazy and made fun of them, but guess what?" Paris, "What?" Aunt, "Those women were not crazy after all! They were just being fearless and didn't care what anybody said. Now look! It's tooootally ok to wear pants!"

Project Runway Ultimate Design Challenge

I saw the Project Runway Design Kits a while ago while shpping with my mom but she said it cost too much.
Well some girl who was not that fashionable returned a kit so they put it on clearance!!!
I love everything about the kits and really like the challenges.
It helps me draw things I would have never thought of!
